Help for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder & Compulsive Behaviour with Counselling and Hypnotherapy

How to stop an ocd attack. How to cure OCD.

Hypnotherapy or Counselling at the Hampshire Hypnotherapy Centre are effective therapies for the symptoms of obsessions and compulsions or OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).

If someone is obsessive, they may be completely preoccupied with negative thoughts and find themselves repeatedly performing acts such as checking doors are locked, gas or electricity are switched off, taps are turned off, counting things or hand washing for example. The person with OCD feels compelled to carry out these actions for fear of something terrible happening if they don’t. Thoughts or actions can dominate the person’s mind to such an extent that it becomes impossible to live a normal life. Some sufferers have been known to repeatedly wash their hands so frequently that they cause skin problems such as bleeding yet still feel compelled to do it for fear of contamination.

Others may have jealous, paranoid or persistent negative thoughts that they can’t get out of their heads. Counting and tidying rituals are common symptoms as are complete pre-occupation with looks or health.
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) affects men and women of all ages and is can be treated very successfully with Hypnotherapy and Counselling at the Hampshire Hypnotherapy and Counselling Centre.
